My Career

I represented Turkish manufacturers for many years as a Sales and Business Development Manager across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Through the strong relationships I established with contractors, importers, and buyers in 12 African countries, 11 Middle Eastern countries — particularly Syria and Oman — as well as in Central Asia and the Caucasus, including Azerbaijan and Georgia, I successfully developed sustainable business networks across dozens of countries.

I served as Iraq Country Manager at MİTAŞ Enerji, where I was personally involved in energy and infrastructure projects from Basra to Erbil, Baghdad to Kirkuk. I know the Iraqi market's dynamics, official procurement mechanisms and local importer networks from direct field experience.

My Arabic language proficiency enabled me to conduct business development activities across 11 Arab countries without cultural or linguistic barriers — a critical advantage in B2G channels and projects requiring direct contact with government institutions.

Through my memberships in the DEİK Energy Executive Board, OAİB and İMMİB, my partnership within the İVME 41 Solution Partnership platform, my delegations in SİGD and TÜÇİAD, as well as my connections with TMB, I continuously maintain and expand my institutional network. Rather than offering desk-based consultancy, I provide a business model focused on active market development and direct buyer acquisition.

DEİK Enerji Executive Board Member

As Executive Board Member of the DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) Energy Business Council, I actively contributed to the international business development activities of the Turkish energy sector. I expanded my institutional network through TİM, TMB, SİGD and TÜÇİAD memberships.

Iraq Country Manager

I took on the country manager role in Iraq, where major energy sector projects were being implemented. I managed energy infrastructure projects in Basra, Erbil, Baghdad and Kirkuk together with field teams. I directly managed relationships with local government institutions, international contractors and suppliers, not as an engineer or contractor, but as a Regional Partner in materials and equipment trade — gaining deep knowledge of Iraq's B2G procurement processes and decision-making mechanisms.

Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

I represented Turkish manufacturers in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Libya and other Arab countries. My Arabic language proficiency allowed direct communication with local buyers, government institutions and project owners, giving us competitive advantage. I developed active sales across many sectors, primarily HVAC, energy equipment and construction materials.

Sub-Saharan Africa

Africa Region Sales & Business Development Manager

I conducted extensive business development activities 12 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola and Senegal. I established long-term buyer relationships for Turkish manufacturers, particularly in fast-growing infrastructure and energy projects, mastering the region's diverse business cultures and procurement processes.

Central Asia

Central Asia Market Development

I developed active buyer and distributor networks for Turkish manufacturers in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian markets. Cultural and linguistic affinity with the Turkic language group enabled me to establish strong and lasting business relationships. I developed B2B and B2G projects particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

I am a graduate of TED Ankara College, one of Turkey's most established educational institutions. After graduation, I deepened my export and international trade career with a focus on the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
